Hurricane Matthew is currently pounding the south western region of Haiti, where our Learning Center and Transitional Home are located. Experts are saying this is a worst-case scenario for Haiti and this is the worst storm that has hit Haiti in over a decade – possibly the worst in 50 years. Between 20 and 40 inches of rain are dumping on the very communities we serve, with sustained winds over 140mph.
You can donate here to help with Hurricane Matthew relief.
We have lost touch with our staff and girls in our transitional home, but with coordinators in every department of Haiti, we are already preparing the necessary supplies and relief support to bring to these communities.
Many of you have already contacted us to ask how you can help. The fastest solution for us is through monetary gifts as we can purchase what we need. We know that we will need medical supplies, food, blankets and building materials. We are working with our partners on the ground to secure these supplies immediately and will purchase other supplies in Cincinnati to take down as we travel.
We would greatly appreciate your help!
Your gift will help us provide for families and communities we have been serving for years who have been affected by the hurricane, and will help in the relief and rebuilding efforts. We promise to steward your relief funds with integrity and effectiveness. Please keep Haiti and our team in your thoughts and prayers.
We will post updates on our Facebook page here.
Donate now to help those affected by Hurricane Matthew.
Thank you for your partnership,
Ray and Joan Conn
