Summer is months of unrelenting work and abuse for most children in restavek. Summer camp is a rare break and an absolute joy for them.
In 2025, we hosted nearly 2,000 kids at Summer Camp in Haiti — this year, we’re getting ready to do the same! Camp in Haiti offers a safe space for children living in restavek and their host siblings to explore, learn, and play together. By bridging these relationships between restavek children and their hosts, they not only have the opportunity to make new friends but are also working towards becoming valued members of their families.
