When Jenniflore was recruited into the Child Advocacy Program in 2014, she was living in restavek with her aunt. Though her aunt paid for her own children to go to school, Jenniflore had to stay home and complete the household chores. She continues to live with her aunt, but is now able to attend school with help from the program.
Her advocate, Mackenson, describes her as mature, positive, and hopeful. Jenniflore’s favorite color is pink and she enjoys dancing. When she grows up, she would like to become a nurse so that she can support her mother.
