What our Advocates are Thankful For!

Happy Thanksgiving!  In honor of the U.S. holiday, we asked our Child Advocates in Haiti what they are most thankful for.  They each have so much they are grateful for that we couldn’t possibly fit it all in one blog!  So, we’re doing something special. Each day this week we’ll reveal a different advocate’s answer!  Today, hear from Frantso…

I am grateful for the way God created me in a very special way.

I am grateful because He’s given me the opportunity to work at Restavek Freedom and with a team who honors Him.

I am grateful because I am a friend, father and colleague for the children who are living in restavek, both physically and psychologically.

I am grateful because all of the children I am working with trust me, and aren’t afraid to tell me about the difficult situations they are living in.

I am grateful for the health of my family and the Restavek Freedom staff.

I am grateful because the children in my caseload are in good health.
