Happy Thanksgiving!  In honor of the U.S. holiday, we asked our Child Advocates in Haiti what they are most thankful for.  They each have so much they are grateful for that we couldn’t possibly fit it all in one blog!  So, we’re doing something special. Each day this week we’re revealing a different advocate’s answer!  Today, hear from Osbert

I am grateful for the safety and grace I’ve found in God to live in such a tough country like Haiti.

I am grateful for the comfort He’s given me through The Holy Spirit. He watches over me every day and holds my hand to walk with me.

I am even more grateful for the everlasting life He’s provided for me.

I am grateful because my present is totally different from my past and so will my future be from my present.

I am grateful for His word, His guidance, and His plan for my life.

I am grateful for every single person He put in my way to help me one way or another.

I am grateful for the opportunity He’s given me to work as a child advocate for vulnerable children, to encourage them by showing them love, respect and kindness, and help them build their self-esteem.

I am grateful for the provision He has given my family by giving me a job to make a living.

There are so many things to be grateful for, they are countless.
